Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan is in no mood to slow down at the box-office. The Siddharth Anand directorial is all set to cross Rs 350 crore mark in India and become an all-time blockbuster in the history of Hindi cinema. As Pathaan continues to dominate the box office, Sanjay Dutt congratulated SRK, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and the film’s team for their massive success.

Meanwhile, Sanjay has joined the cast of filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next feature film, currently called Thalapathy 67. The actor is all set to share screen space with Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay. The movie marks the reunion between Vijay and Kanagaraj after the 2021 blockbuster Master. It also stars Trisha Krishnan.

The production house had taken to social media to announce the news of Sanjay joining the cast of the film. “We feel esteemed to welcome @duttsanjay sir to Tamil Cinema and we are happy to announce that he is a part of #Thalapathy67,” the studio tweeted. This will be Sanjay’s first Tamil movie.

While the plot details of the movie have been kept under wraps, speculations have suggested that Thalapathy 67 is a part of Kanagaraj’s ‘Lokesh Cinematic Universe’, which also includes Karthi starrer Kaithi and Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram.
