Aditya Roy Kapur is not losing sleep over marriage; says, ‘There is no FOMO, there is only JOMO’ – Exclusive | Hindi Movie News
Aditya Roy Kapur is currently lapping up all the accolades and appreciation coming his way thanks to the super success of his first OTT show The Night Manager, which was based on a British show of the same name. But over the last few weeks the actor has been more in the news over his friendship with Ananya Panday. The duo was recently spotted in Spain by their fans.
Talking about his relationship status, Aditya exclusively told ETimes, “I think we should let it remain a topic of discussion. As long as it is being discussed it is a good thing. Conjecture is good, let things flow naturally.”
Asked if there are any plans of him settling down, he states, “All my contemporaries are getting married, but I’m not feeling any FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). As of now there is only JOMO (Joy of Missing Out). Whenever things are going to happen, they will happen. I’m not losing my sleep over it.”
Also in today’s day and age when most actors are present on social media, some very clued in and some not, Aditya falls in the latter category. Be present or not, there is no way one can run away from the trolling that happens. Aditya has his own way of dealing with it. He says, “I’m not very active on it, so I haven’t gone through much of it. I anyway post things very sporadically. But to be very honest, I don’t check the reactions. Sometimes people do send me screenshots like quirky ones etc. Thankfully they filter out the negative ones. (Ignorance is bliss in that sense). But basically I don’t engage with them because if you do then you are buying into their narrative and you are allowing it to affect you.”
